We participate in the Hope Scholarship program for West Virginia.
In 2026-2027, the amount per student participating in the Hope Scholarship is $5,435.62
Our Tuition and Fee Schedule is as follows:
Tuition - $4,500
Textbooks - $400
Technology - $60
Test (Portfolio) Fee - $50
Registration - $45
Transportation - $100
School Supplies -$70
Graduation - $100
Safety -$110.62
These items total - $5,435.62
Without the scholarship, the cost of tuition is the same.
Enrollment and Testing Fees
We take enrollment applications very seriously at NHCS, therefore, to cover the expenses that may arise as a result of enrollment, we charge a non-refundable enrollment fee of $50. This is a one-time annual fee.
We are a Microschool. Every year, we are required to assess our students in one of two ways. We may administer a nationally standardized test or choose to have a portfolio reviewed by a certified teacher. Currently, we prefer the portfolio option. The fee for this service is $45 and is non-refundable.

After you read this website and fill out our online application, you will receive a confirmation email for the receipt of the application. Within two weeks, you will either receive a phone call to set up an initial meeting with the Administrator for yourself and your child, or you will receive a letter explaining why we chose not to accept your application.
